Every year in the UK 2,800 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer. The majority of cervical cancer is caused by the Human Papiloma Virus (HPV), although many women with HPV will not be affected by cervical cancer.

These symptoms can be related to other medical conditions, however due to the nature of cancer an earlier diagnosis and treatment is vital.
Regular screening is imperative as cervical cancer can often present no symptoms for some time. It is also an opportunity to identify any pre cancerous cells, which can be treated before they progress. Please contact us about our Cervical Screening programme.
