Enables access to one of the large veins in order to give chemotherapy and other drugs.

Clotting screen
Blood test to check if blood is clotting normally.
Cytomegalovirus (CMV)
Virus present in a percentage of the population, normally harmless. Can cause chest infection when counts are low.
