Nursing support
Consultants will be supported by highly skilled nurses, with different areas of specialities within cancer treatment including a dedicated Modern Matron who oversees nursing staff, Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) and Palliative Care Nurses.
Patients will be cared for by nursing staff during their treatment programme. The make up of the team will be dependent on the level and kind of treatment required.
